Who are your typical clients?
We work with a variety of clients - no matter the size. We work with the heads of municipalities’, smart city engineering or even urban planning development. We also work with new independent contractors trying to get their feet wet in the space. We love sharing knowledge to those who seek it!
What is the process for determining if you are the right supplier?
We offer a free quotation for any request including drawings (if needed). The process is not involved with suffocating sales tactics, just a few questions to determine what you need and a same day estimate. We have products available for DIY applications, and commercial grade material that is utilized in mixed-use or industrial settings.
Can you help a client get funding?
Yes, we offer both in-house financing and other outside options for clients. Contractors also reap the benefits of joining our contractor club.
What exactly is "Grizzly Contractor Club"
Grizzly Automation was our first leap into the DIY automatic gate/security market. We established a solid group of individuals who helped instill a foundation that evolved into a "club". Now, our way of showing appreciation is providing NET TERM payment options and other perks. This is our salute to the hard working men and women in the trade choosing us to be their partners. We also provide quarterly networking events and collaboration that moves us forward as one.
Are all of your products made in the US?
All of our products are 100% designed and engineered in the United States. 80% of our products are manufactured here on US soil with 10% in South Africa, and another 10% in Switzerland.
Can we white label your products?
On select product categories, we do provide services to white label. We can help you develop a new standalone option for your company as well dependent on your needs.
Services Questions
What do you offer in a smart home package?
When choosing us as a supplier we are able to retrofit, incorporate into existing structures, or design from scratch your smart ecosystem. The ethos of our brand collectively is to integrate smart home technology and provide affordable quality technology for everyone. We get your system up and running remotely without the additional costs of "technician visits". As a KNX partner we are authorized to sell UL Listed KNX wiring including manufacture/develop our own technology which is what we use. Options are endless and we are proud to offer Matter Certified, KNX Certified, UL listed materials to meet and exceed standards.
Can you provide necessary plans for permitting on fencing / gate purchases?
Yes! We are a team with licensed and qualified civil-structural engineers that not only provide necessary documents for site specific work, but we are able to offer renderings that can be passed on to clients to help in the decision making process.
Can you install the Garter System Gate openers?
The only product that we do personally offer installation including servicing is our Garter security access controls. Installation is typically included in the cost **Depending on package** with an additional FREE 30/60 day followup visit to inspect, and make adjustments as needed.
Will you install other branded control access software or products?
We never turn our shoulder on clients who are in need of advice and expert help and always happy to provide consultation before making a purchase. However, we will only install / service equipment that is not apart of the ELITE BRANDS so long the main motor is GRIZZLY/GARTER. Our technicians are licensed electricians and hold industry premier certification CGAT by the ADA.
My gate is not working, and we cannot track down the contractor who installed it - what now?
Rest assured our gate operating systems are configured to allow us to not only troubleshoot but possibly resolve any problems from our main office. No matter if you live in Toronto, Alaska, or Palm Beach we can help you with your Garter System without an in-person tech visit for troubleshooting.
Are you a data controller or processor?
We are not data collectors/processors, but it is a question that clients in the past have queried and the answer is, no. While we develop and manufacture our products in house that encompass a broad scope - LEGIC is at the core of all that we do including HSM Infrastructure.
