Why Grizzly Automation?

Our objective in designing this line of smart gate openers was to introduce a high-quality linear gate opener model that was ready to use out of the box, without the need for expensive “add-on” accessories to make it functional and justify its price. More importantly, we aimed to create a robust system capable of operating in diverse environments, such as a family ranch in Texas or a busy facility in the middle of Kodiak, Alaska, throughout the year.

What is the maximum swing gate width / weight I can install?

G280, up to 8' W (per leaf) (850lb.) steel, solid wood, ornamental, vinyl.
G580, up to 14' (per leaf) (1800lb.) steel, solid wood, ornamental, vinyl.

Do you offer sliding or sectional / garage openers?

We offer residential sliding gate DIY openers, and a powerful residential/commercial 2 roller bearing, DC motor prepared to handle the rigors of your security needs.

Can I really install this opener on my own?

If you can follow directions, and have a set plan for powering your system - installation takes only 4 hours. We purposely designed this system to provide a more simple setup for trade professionals and homeowners. Just like any "DIY" project one must be mindful of their own aptitude and understanding of mechanical / electrical components. If deciding to install a Grizzly opener on your own consumer will assume all risks involved to ensure a quality, and safe install.

What if we run across issues during install but I did not want to hire one of your techs?

This is never a problem. We stand by our products and will always be available at our clients disposable regardless of who is setting up your gate opener. Just give us a call or shoot an email and we will help free of charge.

How long is my warranty? and what parts are covered?

Our entire line of DC motors regardless of class will have a lifetime manufacturer warranty - with registration upon purchase. Other internal components will feature a 5 year warranty. Accessories, 5 year warranty.

I need a repair, or possible replacement parts?

We offer replacement parts for purchase after we assess your needs, often times we will send certain components free of charge. Repairs are often performed on site or shipped into our shop for servicing.

I want to use solar panels, but do not want to purchase what your back up kit. What do I need?

While our "Plug and Play" features are exclusive to our operators. We know that utilizing 3rd party alternatives are sometimes the case for certain installs, and that is ok. All you need is to purchase our harness/connector kit in the online shop, and setup will be complete.
